Saturday Lotto

Every Saturday, Lotto gives players the chance to win a share in a $4 million division 1 prize pool. There are also superdraws throughout the year of up to (and sometimes over) $20 million. During the Christmas and New Year period, players have a chance to win a share in $30 million or more in Saturday Lotto mega draws – what better way to start the new year!

How to Play

For Saturday Lotto, eight balls numbered 1 to 45 are drawn randomly to find the six winning numbers. The first 6 numbers drawn are the winning numbers and the last 2 balls are the supplementary numbers. Although the supplementary numbers don’t count toward winning the jackpot, they do count toward prizes in divisions 2, 5 and 6. In a standard game, players choose 6 numbers from the set of 45.

Saturday Lotto goes under several names depending on which state you’re in. In Victoria players would recognise it as Tatts Lotto. Queenslanders know it as Gold Lotto and in South Australia it’s X Lotto.

Odds of winning a prize are 1 in 144, and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 8,145,060.
